Nathan Dylan Goodwin

I was born and raised in Hastings, East Sussex and spent much of my early life there.

I spent almost a year living in Southern France in 1996/1997 before spending three years living and studying in Manchester.

In 2000 I moved near to Canterbury, Kent where I gained a II:I degree in Radio, Film and Television Studies. This was followed by a Masters degree in Creative Writing, also from Canterbury Christ Church University.

My first book Hastings at War 1939-1945 was published in May 2005, followed by another volume on Hastings in WW2, Hastings Wartime Memories and Photographs, published November 2008. My latest book, Hastings & St Leonards Through Time was published in October 2010.

I have been researching the Goodwin family tree since 1998.

I am a member of the Hastings & Rother Family History Group, the Society of Genealogists, Sussex Family History Group and the Guild of One-Name Studies.
